Not true. If you played The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit, Chris plays with his toys and identifies them as good guys or bad guys. It's a bit unfair, I'll concede, if you haven't played or don't remember that, since nothing in Life Is Strange 2 itself hints this, but it could be argued that Captain Spirit is Life Is Strange Episode 0.
Farewell alone is worth the price of admission, but BtS itself is an amazing game as well, in my opinion. I think it depends on when you played Life is Strange. The Farewell Episode is the draw of the bundle, but if you don't really care about another Max and Chloe story it won't do much for you.

Life is Strange still has problems with its dialogue and pacing, but Episode Two reaches emotional heights that are worth the journey. Your choices as Max are finally beginning to take on meaning EcZm.
