so i'm having issues with my GBA SP. every time i put in any game, GBA or GB, it can't read it. it turns on, & it will even acknowledge if it's in GBA mode or GB mode, but it won't load the game. it also will not charge properly. i cleaned the pin connectors, it has a new battery & i tested with the old one to see if it was the battery's issue
