It is sharp but over twice as expensive. I haven't had a clear night to test it for AP yet, but it was worth the price to me for a small, WA, native E mount lens for carrying around on the camera. I bet the EF-S 24mm f/2.8 STM will be nice to have regardless of how well it does AP. -- hide signature --. Jack Swinden.
